Filip Škunca is an experienced sustainability, finance and risk management professional with extensive knowledge in investments and project management. He is currently working as the Head of Sustainability and ESG at Triglav osiguranje Zagreb and leading the internal project for sustainable development system including a forward-looking ESG strategy. Filip has successfully coordinated and realized several sustainability initiatives in Triglav, starting from procuring 100% „green“ electricity from renewable sources and also the implementation of ISO 50001:2018 (Energy Management System), making it the first insurance company in Croatia to adopt this ISO standard.
A key achievement from these initiatives is an expected reduction of Scope 1 and 2 CO2 emissions by 17% by the end of 2024 compared to 2023. This accomplishment, along with other strategic sustainability goals, enhances the company’s standing with stakeholders, creates a comprehensive ESG data repository and boosts energy efficiency. Filip is also a member of several internal task force groups focused on optimizing business processes, enhancing profitability and operational resilience while reinforcing Triglav’s ESG commitment to sustainability and resource efficiency.
Also worth mentioning is that Filip successfully completed his PhD study in January 2023 and is currently pursuing IPMA Level B certification for project management.
